Wander Well Living is an independent digital publication and podcast covering wellness, culture, fitness, vegan living, sustainability, travel, entertainment and Los Angeles through the lens of intention and conscious living.
Our work is created for readers. Accuracy, clarity, independence and transparency matter more than access, speed or a commercial relationship. This page explains the standards we use and the context readers can expect to see with our work.
ACCURACY AND SOURCING
We check names, dates, titles, quotations and material factual claims before publication. Whenever practical, our first source is direct experience or a primary record: an interview, screening, event, official document, research paper, organization, award body, studio, filmmaker, credited production record or product label.
Secondary reporting may be used for context and independent confirmation. Publicist materials, news releases and verified social posts are attributed rather than presented as independent reporting. We do not treat search snippets, anonymous aggregation or AI-generated summaries as evidence.
When an article contains a direct interview, we identify the medium when it matters—for example, in person, by phone, by email or by video call. We do not imply that a writer attended an event, viewed a work or used a product unless that is true.
STORY FORMATS
We use clear labels so readers understand what they are reading:
• News: Timely factual reporting based on verified information.
• Interview: Original questions and answers or a reported conversation.
• Review: An evaluation based on actual viewing, attendance, dining, testing or use.
• Analysis: Interpretation grounded in confirmed facts and clearly identified reasoning.
• Guide: Practical information assembled from verified sources and, where stated, firsthand experience.
• First Person: A writer’s own experience and point of view.
• Preview: What is known before an event, release or launch; it is not a review.
Predictions, opinions and inferences are identified as such. A preview will not be converted into a review unless the work or experience was actually reviewed.
REVIEWS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
A Wander Well review reflects an honest editorial assessment. We say what was reviewed, how access was obtained when relevant, and the basis for a recommendation. Product features should explain who something is best for, who may want to skip it, meaningful limitations and any material safety or use information.
Prices, availability, menus, ingredients, features and offers can change, so we date-check time-sensitive buying information against official sources close to publication.
If a product, meal, ticket, trip, treatment or experience was complimentary or hosted, the story includes a clear disclosure. Complimentary access does not guarantee coverage or a positive conclusion.
AFFILIATE LINKS AND COMMERCE
Some Wander Well Living pages contain affiliate links. If a reader buys through one of those links, Wander Well Living may earn a commission, usually at no additional cost to the reader. Monetized recommendations are labeled near the relevant link or section, before a reader must act on them.
Affiliate relationships do not determine our conclusions. We do not promise coverage, placement or a favorable review in exchange for commission eligibility. A product may be omitted, criticized or not recommended even when an affiliate relationship exists.
Pages containing Amazon affiliate links include the statement: “As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.”
Sponsored content and paid partnerships are labeled distinctly from independent editorial work.
GIFTS, EVENTS AND CONFLICTS
Wander Well Living may receive invitations, samples, press materials or early access. Relevant material relationships are disclosed in the article. We do not accept payment for unmarked editorial coverage.
When a writer or owner has a personal, professional or financial relationship that could reasonably affect a reader’s interpretation of a story, that relationship should be disclosed or the assignment reconsidered. Wander Well Living does not create fictional staff, sources, attendance, quotes or testing histories.
IMAGES, AUDIO AND QUOTATIONS
Original images are credited to the photographer when known. Studio, organization and publicity images are identified by their provided credit. Stock, licensed and generated visuals should not be presented as documentary evidence of an event.
Quotations are drawn from direct interviews, official transcripts, verified recordings or clearly attributed public statements. We do not change the meaning of a quote. Minor edits for length or clarity are identified when the change could matter.
AI-ASSISTED WORK
Wander Well Living may use assistive technology for tasks such as transcription, research organization, copy-editing, headline development, search optimization or production support. AI output is not treated as a source. A human editor is responsible for reviewing the work, checking factual claims and links, protecting confidential material, and making the final publication decision.
AI tools may not be used to fabricate reporting, attendance, product use, quotations, people, evidence or images represented as real documentary photography. When a generated visual could reasonably be mistaken for a real event or person, its nature must be made clear.
CORRECTIONS AND UPDATES
We correct material errors promptly. Minor spelling, grammar, formatting and broken-link fixes are made directly. When a change affects meaning, we revise the relevant passage so the current article is accurate and clear.
Publication dates remain attached to the original work. When timing materially affects how a historical story is understood, the article itself provides the necessary context.
To request a correction, email press@wanderwellliving.com with CORRECTION in the subject line and include the article URL, the statement at issue and supporting evidence. We review good-faith requests, but a request does not guarantee a change when the published material is accurate and appropriately contextualized.

These standards will evolve as Wander Well Living grows. Material changes should be reflected in the Last reviewed date above.
